Ranbury Boosts Health Services

Three months after joining Ranbury as Health Leader, Sue Folliott has been making an impact on Ranbury’s health clients.

Covid-19 has presented challenges to health services – with the need to separate patients using traditional hospital services from those who require testing for infectious viruses and diseases. Sue is working alongside several of Ranbury’s health clients to future-proof their infrastructure against pandemics.

Sue is currently coordinating reviews of existing projects’ Schematic Designs in light of preparations and responses to Covid-19 and providing key stakeholders with the opportunity to give feedback on the design and infrastructure challenges they have experienced during the current pandemic.  This feedback will be incorporated into a design peer review to assist in informing recommendations regarding the design of the redevelopment from a health service and system perspective.

Ranbury is proud of the value this process is adding to projects; ensuring they can effectively respond to future pandemic events.

ABOUT SUE FOLLIOTT

Sue was appointed to Ranbury in April 2020 in acknowledgement of our commitment to providing our health services clients with the specialist expertise required for hospital and health sector projects. She joined Ranbury following, most recently, two and a half years involvement on the $600M Tweed Hospital Development Project. Sue also conducted an Operational Commissioning peer review and Lessons Learnt for Calvary Adelaide Hospital ($300M).

Sue is highly experienced in the planning and delivery of healthcare projects. Utilising her nursing and construction degrees, her 30-year professional career spans operational hospital roles through to health management, health planning, construction delivery and post-occupancy evaluation.

Sue has over ten years’ experience in project management of Capital Infrastructure projects within both the public and private health sector, from service planning through to delivery and operational commissioning. She is experienced in all stages of planning, including feasibility studies, site selection, health service and facility planning and gateway process in both Queensland and New South Wales. With her current work for Ranbury across Queensland, New South Wales and the ACT, Sue is already making a positive impact on our health sector clients.

ABOUT RANBURY’S HEALTH SERVICE

Ranbury’s Health Services team brings together individuals who have been working on health projects for years.  Collectively, they are experienced in working in operational hospital and health services sites and understand how to mitigate the unique construction and health service disruption risks, while managing the many stakeholder groups.

This team works with our health sector clients to understand their priorities, risks and opportunities, and applies their extensive experience and knowledge from lessons learnt, to ensure they are successfully delivered.

Sue’s appointment, and the creation of a specialist Health Service Team, further Ranbury’s commitment to supporting the Government’s priorities, including delivering essential capital projects and the creation of more jobs for Australians.
